Greenvale focuses on company’s green credentials
Greenvale has launched a new marketing strategy focusing on the company’s green credentials and its partnerships with growers, suppliers and customer.
The company celebrated its work with the Scottish Crop Research Institute which resulted in the development of Vales Sovereign, arguably the most successful new potato variety for fifty years, at British Potato 2009.
The Vales Sovereign variety is a more sustainable potato because it requires less water, less fertiliser and is more resistant to disease than traditional varieties, said Greenvale marketing manager Sue Gilbert.
