Anglia Farmer’s sister publication, Anglia Machinery magazine, is pleased to announce a three-year media partnership deal signed with the Midlands Machinery Show –  due to take place on 20-21 November at the Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire.

With its strapline of “bringing the agricultural industry together”, the two-day event is a great platform for farmers and contractors to do business with local, regional and national agricultural machinery dealers and manufacturers.

Some 300 exhibitors attended the event in 2018, with the show delivering opportunities for face-to-face conversations between farmers and machinery suppliers about the best way to meet the challenges facing food production agriculture.

The media partnership will enable Anglia Machinery to bring readers exclusive previews of machinery and other exhibits ahead of the event – benefiting farmers by showcasing the latest in agricultural innovation and equipment.

Anglia Machinery publisher, Joe Marritt, said: “Like all good partnerships, this agreement is good for all sides. It benefits Anglia Machinery, because we will be able to bring readers comprehensive coverage – and it will benefit the Midlands Machinery Show, by raising its profile.

“But above all, it will benefit farmers and showgoers – by providing them with the latest information about the event, including the latest exhibits and technology which will ultimately make a difference the bottom line of their farm businesses.”

Exhibitors include specialists in crop establishment, management, nutrition and crop protection – as  well as storage and marketing. Part of the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society, the Midlands Machinery Show team is knowledgeable and welcoming too.

Show manager George Taylor says: “We pride ourselves in ensuring regular communication with our exhibitors and we have listened to feedback. One of the ideas we are pursuing is improving the footfall around the whole show by moving one of the entrances.

“We are also working with exhibitors to provide a full timetable of relevant and informative product demonstrations in out outdoor demo area, which was new for last year. It is our aim to develop the best regional agricultural machinery show.”
