A commercial arable farm of more than 800 acres has been listed for sale in Cambridgeshire for a guide price of £10m.
Lodge Farm, Great Raveley, near Huntingdon, has been owned by the same family for over 70 years. It was the home of Jean Murchie – later Jean Edwards – of farming enterprise W & J C Edwards.
Comprising approximately 825 acres (333 hectares), the property includes a five-bedroom farmhouse, two additional cottages, a well-equipped farmyard and a yard with planning permission for residential conversion.
Listed for sale through property agent Savills, Lodge Farm is available as a whole or in five separate lots. It is currently farmed under a Contract Farming Agreement family who would be keen to continue their management for a new owner.
Oliver Carr, who leads the rural team for Savills in Cambridgeshire, said: “A range of buildings offer useful commercial income and flexibility for several different uses, while a separate yard also has planning permission for residential development.”
